The AP Style Guide is the journalist’s governing style guide and bible (I once knew a copy editor who kept it by her bedside table!) Some people think of Associated Press when they hear “AP.” I hope you also think of me, Amanda Palleschi.
I’m a freelance writer and writing professor with a decade of experience in deadline-driven news environments. I've written for everything from policy trade publications and local daily newspapers to national publications like The Atlantic, Washington City Paper, Pacific Standard, FiveThirtyEight, and more. I’ve also done content writing, editing and consulting work for clients in a variety of spaces, including progressive politics, media, tech and wellness.
